Vent Lab — Terms & Conditions

1. What you're buying

The Vent Letter Lab is a one-time, asynchronous written purchase within the Vent Lab service. You submit a vent — in text, audio, or video — and receive one personalized, column-style reflective letter (the Three-Theory Strategic Action Letter) by email within 72 hours of a complete submission. Price: $25.

2. What this is — and what it is not

This is a reflective consulting and writing product, created and delivered by Faith Tunstall, M.S., LPC. Read this list carefully — it is what keeps this product safely outside of clinical care:

• This is not therapy or counseling.
• This is not coaching.
• This is not mental health, medical, or behavioral-health treatment.
• No therapeutic or coach-client relationship is created when you buy or receive a letter.
• No diagnosis, clinical evaluation, treatment, or clinical recommendations are provided.
• The letter is not a substitute for mental health treatment, medical advice, or professional support.

The letter is designed for personal reflection and insight only.

3. Who can buy

You must be 18 or older. By purchasing, you confirm the information you submit is your own and is accurate.

4. Crisis and safety disclosures

The letter is never crisis support, suicide prevention, or emergency care.

If your submission indicates a risk of imminent harm to yourself or others, active abuse of a minor or a vulnerable adult, or any other emergency, we will not write or deliver a letter. We will instead refund your purchase in full and direct you to appropriate crisis resources.

If you are in crisis right now: call or text 988 (in the U.S.) or your local emergency number, or go to your nearest emergency room.

5. Confidentiality and your privacy

Your submission is used only to prepare your letter. Because no therapeutic relationship is created, your submission and letter are not protected by therapist-client privilege and are not a health record.

We keep your submission only as long as needed to prepare your letter, then securely delete it. Payment details are processed by our payment provider and are not stored by us.

We may disclose information where required by law, or to help protect someone from serious and imminent harm — including the abuse or neglect of a minor or a vulnerable adult. For more on how we handle your information, see our Notice of Privacy Practices.

6. Refunds

Refunds are available only if your submission has not yet been reviewed. Once work has begun or the letter has been delivered, the purchase is non-refundable.

If your submission includes self-harm, suicidal intent, active abuse, or any crisis-level safety concern, your purchase will be refunded immediately and no letter will be delivered. You will receive a link to free crisis resources instead.

7. Delivery and your responsibilities

Your letter is delivered to the email address you provide, within 72 hours. Please check your spam or promotions folder before contacting us. If you have not received it within 72 hours, email info@giftccs.com.

You are responsible for providing a working email address and for taking care of your own well-being. The letter supports reflection — it does not replace care you may need.

8. How the letter may be used

The letter is for your personal, non-commercial use. You may not publish, distribute, resell, or use it commercially without our written permission. It is not for use in legal, medical, custody, employment, or court matters, and it is not intended to be relied on in any proceeding.

9. Intellectual property

The letter is an original work. Your purchase gives you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to keep and read it. We retain all rights, including copyright, in the letter and in the Vent Lab format, method, and materials.

10. Disclaimer of warranties and limitation of liability

The letter is provided "as is." We make no promises about specific results or outcomes. To the fullest extent permitted by law, GIFT Counseling and Consulting, PLLC is not liable for any indirect or consequential damages, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid ($25).

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
