Hello! My name is Faith, and I am the face behind GIFT Counseling and Consulting, PLLC.
I became a therapist because I know what it’s like to carry things quietly. Not everything needs fixing — but everything deserves space. I built GIFT Counseling and Consulting to offer that space: one that’s calm, clear, and rooted in respect. I don’t believe in rushing people through their healing. I believe in showing up with intention, listening without judgment, and helping you make sense of what’s unfolding.
This work matters to me because people matter to me. I’ve seen how powerful it is when someone feels safe enough to speak freely — and how much can shift when they do.

What I bring to every session:
A calm, compassionate, emotionally attuned presence
Direct, respectful communication — with humor when helpful
Strengths-based strategies that honor your lived experience
A nonjudgmental space where growth feels possible
A commitment to helping you feel grounded, capable, and connected to yourself.
Values that guide my work as a therapist:

Transparency
I believe clients deserve to understand how therapy works, what’s being documented, and what decisions are being made. I communicate openly about goals, boundaries, and expectations so there’s no confusion about what we’re doing or why.
Respect for Autonomy
I don’t push people through healing — I walk with them. I honor each client’s pace, voice, and lived experience, and I never assume I know what’s best without their input.
Clinical Integrity
I stay grounded in evidence-based care, clear documentation, and ethical boundaries. I don’t blur lines, overpromise, or drift into roles that don’t belong to me — because clients deserve care that’s both compassionate and professionally sound.
